These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at https://www.getfineline.com (the "Site") and the services offered by FINE LINE ELECTRIC LLC ("Fine Line Electric," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, requesting a quote, or hiring us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. Our Services
We provide the services described on the Site. Descriptions on the Site are general; the scope, price, and schedule of any work are set out in the written estimate, proposal, or agreement we provide for that job, which controls over these Terms if the two conflict.
2. Estimates, Scheduling, and Payment
- An estimate is an offer to perform the described work at the stated price and is valid for the period stated on it.
- Work beyond the estimate's scope, or changes you request, may change the price and schedule; we will tell you before proceeding where practical.
- Payment is due as stated on the estimate or invoice. Late payments may incur the charges stated there, and we may pause or stop work until an overdue balance is paid.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please tell us as early as you can. Costs we have already incurred for your job may be charged.
3. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or submit false or misleading information through it. Content on the Site — text, images, logos, and design — belongs to Fine Line Electric or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
4. SMS / Text Messaging Program Terms
Program description. When you opt in, Fine Line Electric sends text messages related to your requests, appointments, estimates, invoices, and service updates, and replies to messages you send us.
How you opt in. You opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages on our Site, on a form, in writing, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your requests and the services you use.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. After you text STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.

Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages depends on your carrier's network and your device.
Privacy. How we handle your mobile information is described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Warranties and Disclaimers
Any warranty on work we perform is stated in the estimate or agreement for that job. Except as stated there, the Site and our services are provided "as is," and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fine Line Electric is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the Site or our services, and our total liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Fine Line Electric, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from claims and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms, the Site, or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either of us from seeking relief in small-claims court where available.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
